Jay is Vice President of Premier Gym Operations, as well as, the General Manager for the Nashville facility.  Jay studied Business at Middle Tennessee State University and is a former Combat Engineer of the United States Marine Corps.

Sean Timmons began his cheerleading career in 1994 at Toms River High School East, he later went on to cheer at Rutgers University, and was a member of the first open team at World Cup, The Wild Stars. Sean graduated from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a BS in Political Science.
In 1996 Sean started his coaching career at the Pop Warner level with the Toms River Angels. During his time with the Angels they won three consecutive National Championships and his success landed him a job coaching at The World Cup All Stars in 1999. Within the 14 years at World Cup he has coached and choreographed for levels 1-5, and has won numerous State, Regional, and National Titles. While working at World Cup Sean also coached Lacey High School, Jackson Memorial High School, Howell High School, and is the Head Coach of Rutgers University since 2009. He is currently coaching the Medium Coed Level 5 team and the Large Senior Restricted Level 5 team at World Cup.
With many great accomplishments in his career, his most proud moments as a coach include winning the 2009 USASF Cheerleading Worlds in Large Senior while coaching the World Cup Shooting Stars. Other big wins include a 3rd place finish in 2013 at UCA College Nationals in Division 1A All Girl with Rutgers University, and many numerous NCA, UCA, and Cheersport Nationals wins.
Sean has traveled all over the US and Canada teaching camps, choreography, judging, and speaking at conferences. He is a former member of the USASF National Advisory Board and is an inaugural member of the NACCC.
His certifications include USASF Level 1-5 (United States All Star Federation), AACCA (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators), NCA (National Cheerleading Association), First Aid, CPR, and USAG (USA Gymnastics).

Angela Noffsinger


Angela is a former gymnast, power tumbler, and all star cheerleader. Angela cheered for the Premier Sharks and won numberous awards with the team from Knoxville, TN. After graduating from high school, Angela was the first student from Premier Athletics to cheer for the nationally ranked University of Kentucky cheerleading squad. The University of Kentucky is known as one of the top college cheer programs in the nation. Angela cheered for the Kentucky Blue squad for 4 years where she helped the squad to win 3 UCA College National titles, and one runner-up. Angela furthered her education in accounting at the University of Kentucky.

Nick started gymnastics at Master’s School of Gymnastic. He cheered three years for McGavock High School, and competed for Premier All Stars for three years on the Senior L4 & L5 teams.  Nick’s expertise lies in cheerleading and dance choreography for all star and school squad teams.

Ashlee has been with Premier since its establishment as a student.  She has also danced competitively for 15 years.  Ashlee is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she is majored in Education.  She is currently a teacher at Shayne Elementary School.  She is an excellent coach and motivator.  Her expertise lies with the “little ones”.

Trey began his cheerleading career as an all star cheerleader in 2010. Trey began coaching all stars at Premier in 2014. He has taken numerous teams to the Summit in Orlando, FL.

Brittany has been with Premier Athletics since its establishment, first as an athlete and later as a coach. As well as being a competitive cheerleader, Brittany was also a competitive dancer for eleven years. After high school she attended the University of Louisville where she cheered for four years and won three National Champion titles. Brittany began coaching for Premier in 2014.

William began as an athlete for Premier Athletics. William cheered on his high school team and was an all star cheerleader for Premier. William started coaching tumbling at Premier Athletics in 2012. His strength began in coaching tumbling classes. In 2014 he began coaching school teams and All Stars teams. He has had two National 3rd place finishes with Grassland Middle and Brentwood Middle School. He has also taken two All Stars teams to The Summit in Orlando, FL.

Kelley Carr

Kelley joined the Premier Athletics family after relocating from Ohio for her husband’s job in 2013.  She established North Coast All Star Cheer and Dance, Inc. in Berea, Ohio in 1998.  During her time there she managed the coaching staff, tumbling class instruction, designed curriculum, planning travel, as well as, was the head coach of a number of teams ranging from level 1-5.  Currently, Kelley is a USASF Credentialing Instructor and the Tennessee State USASF Representative.  She is a USASF certified legality and safety judge and panel judges for a number of events throughout the United States. Kelley is credentialed levels 1-5, CPR and certified through the Special Olympic course for coaching cheerleading. Kelley is a middle school English Language Arts teacher with a master’s degree in Special Education.

Amy has twin girls whom are former Premier cheerleaders, and are currently college cheerleaders. Amy is a part of the office staff. She has worked for Premier for several years and is always happy to assist you in any way she can.

Calvin has been a coach at Premier Athletics since 2011. Calvin is a former all-star and high school cheerleader. He has competed nationally at top competitions such as The Cheerleading World's and UCA High School Nationals. Calvin's expertise lies within the all-star and school squad teams.

Allison began cheering for Premier in 2005 on their senior level 4 & 5 teams. She has coached all-star cheer for 7 years and high school cheer for 3 years. She is a graduate of TN Technology University where she majored in Elementary Education. While at TN Tech Allison cheered on their all-girl squad.

Melissa Bull

Melissa Bull is originally from Pearl City, Illinois. She began power tumbling at the age of 5 and continued to power tumble until she graduated high school. She was an advanced and elite level power tumbler and a 8 time USTA national qualifier. Melissa also coached at Pierce Athletics for 5 years while also being a member of the competitive power tumbling team. Power tumbling eventually introduced her into the cheerleading world, and she became an all star cheerleader in 2004.

After High School, she became a member of the All Girl cheerleading squad at Morehead State University. While attending MSU, Melissa won 3 UCA Collegiate National Titles in 2011, 2014, and 2015. Also, Melissa was selected to represent the United States in 2014 on the USA Cheer All Girl Squad, where her team won the ICU championships earning a gold medal for their country.

Melissa started her journey with Premier Athletics this spring as a cheerleading and tumbling coach. She is also the Tumble Class Director at Premier Athletics.

Tapp has coached for 3 different national winning all-star programs. He’s been involved with Cheerleading in multiple aspects for over 8 years. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where he majored in Computer Management. While at Tennessee Tech, he was a 5 year competitive cheerleader. Tapp is a USASF Certified instructor and avid outdoor enthusiast. He is currently an IT Technical Specialist for Underwriter Laboratories and Soldier in the U.S. Army. He has a strong moral compass which guides his decisions and actions. For an athlete to be successful he believes a strong work ethic, discipline, and dedication are key factors. His expertise lies with co-ed stunting and tumbling.

Anna Claire has been with Premier as an athlete, or a coach, since 2006. After high school, she cheered at Lipscomb University and graduated with an Elementary Education degree. Currently she is working at an insurance agency. She has been a coach at Premier the past 4 years, as well as, sideline coaching high school and middle school cheer for 10 years. She loves that Premier offers a family environment that gives her the opportunity to work with children of all ages.

Mckenzie was an athlete with Premier since the beginning. Mckenzie began cheering when she was 5 years old. She won numerous championships throughout her career and attended Worlds three times. She was also on her school cheerleading squad, Brentwood High School. After high school, Mckenzie graduated from the University of Tennessee.
