Chasity Carter is in 23rd year of coaching! She got her start in cheer at a ripe age of four where she cheered pop warner and continuing her love for cheer in middle school and high school where she served as captain her Junior and Senior Year. Chasity won All-Star Nationals in 1997 as a member of United Gators. Chasity was also named Cheerleader of the Month in American Cheerleader Magazine in October of 1997 as she entered her first year in college at Austin Peay State University. Her team competed nationally and was ranked 2nd in the nation twice during her efforts there and she was elected captain her Junior and Senior Year. Upon graduating from APSU with a BSN in Nursing, she chose to put her nursing career on hold as she co-owned and franchised Premier cheer gyms in Middle TN. She has been an all-star director for Premier Athletics and ACE all-stars for the State of TN collectively for 13 years. She has coached all ages and levels to regional and National titles and has even taken several teams to top finishes at the World Championships.
Keye is a native of Columbia, TN where he attended Columbia Central High school. He is currently a Senior at Martin Methodist University where he cheers for the nationally ranked competition cheer team. He is also a member of the NCA staff. His strengths are in stunting and tumbling technique. He was also a former national champion in power tumbling. These accolades have helped him transition into coaching our competitive school and all-star teams.
School Camp & Clinic Supervisor and Coach
Chris is from Lavergne, TN. He attended Lavergne High School and continued his education at Martin Methodist where he graduated with a degree in fitness managment. His expertise lies in stunting and tumbling instruction. He currently coaches our school and all-star competition teams.
Ninja Academy Supervisor/ Tumble Coach
Yuta is from Lavergne, TN. He attended Lavergne High School where he started his cheer career. He also participated in tennis and was an active member of the swim team for four years. Yuta continued his education at Martin Methodist where he recently graduated with a degree in fitness management. Yuta was also a member of the Nationally ranked competition cheer team at Martin Methodist in the NAIA. He enjoys breakdancing in his free time which has made him a great tumbling coach and valuable to our competition hip hop dance teams.
Office Manager/Special Events Supervisor
Kim comes to us from Culleoka, TN where her daughter is a Senior in high school and is currently a member of our All-Star program at Premier athletics in Franklin. Kim has been a part of cheerleading/all-star cheerleading for several years and certainly knows the "ins and outs" of the sport. Kim is responsible for our billing, financial, and booking of classes (among other office administration). She is the smiling face you see when you walk in the gym and she "has all the answers!"
Vickie is a native of Columbia, TN. She will be also be assisting Kim with the office administration, billing and booking of classes. She dedicates some of her time to her job at Maury Regional Medical center where she is a respiratory therapist (when she is not babysitting Chasity's kids).
Koby got his start in cheerleading at the age of 13 yrs old at Summertown Middle school where he continued to cheer for his HIgh school and started competing in all-star cheer! He has since, developed his tumbing and stunting and has recently been accepted as a Martin Methodist cheerleader on a cheer scholarship starting in the Fall 2018. His expertise lies in dance, stunt and jump technique and we are excited to have him on board the PA staff family!
Born in Nashville, TN, Hayley (Shine) began cheering when she was 5 years old at Premier Athletics in Franklin. She continued to cheer for All-Stars for the next 17 years where she has won multiple National Championships. At that time, Shine also competed with Brentwood High School where she competed at UCA High School Nationals where her team competed in finals. She continued cheerleading into college where she competed with the University of Louisville Cheerleading team. Shine competed on both the Small Coed and All-Girl team where she won NCA College Nationals all four years. While in college, she competed with GymTyme All-Stars in Louisville, KY where her team won The Cheerleading Worlds 3 times. After moving home from college, she decided to continue her passion and began coaching at Premier. Shine is excited for another season with Premier and loves seeing the athletes grow and accomplish their goals.
Dance Academy Supervisor & Coach
Alexa is from Dickson, Tennessee and has been involved in dance since she was three years old. She began competing at the age of 8 in many genres of dance including hip hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, open, acro and pom, winning many competitions on the local and national level with her team and as a solo dancer. Alexa also was an avid cheerleader, cheering from junior pro through high school. Upon graduating from high school Alexa danced four years with the Tennessee Tech Golden Girls at football and basketball games, as well as various performances throughout Cookeville. Her senior year of college she served as Captain of the dance team where they finished 7th in the nation at UDA College Nationals. She began her teaching career as a junior dance teacher and has continued teaching throughout college. Alexa is looking forward to another exciting year at Premier Athletics Columbia as she watches her students grow and shine through dance and cheer.
Social Media Supervisor
Skylar is from Columbia, TN. She began cheering at the young age of 5. Over the years, Skylar has been involved in youth league, middle, high school, and all star cheerleading, as she cheered at Premier Athletics Franklin for 3 years. During her years of cheerleading, Skylar won national titles as well as being a participant at the 2014 Summit All Levels National Championship. Her senior year of cheer, Skylar was awarded the Premier Athletics scholarship. She currently is a Junior at Middle Tennessee State University and is majoring in Marketing. In addition to cheerleading, she is also the artist behind our social media posts that you may catch on Instagram and Facebook!
