Premier Athletics is proud to offer the Premier Championships each December in Sevierville, TN.
This cheerleading and dance team championship is held the first weekend in December every year--now at the brand new Sevierville Events Center. Located just minutes from the family fun of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, this championship event is like none other in the country!
This two-day championship is an open championship for all Premier Gyms. We take pride in the fact that this is a friendly competition between coaches and friends. The number one goal is to strengthen the bond between the thousands of athletes who train with Premier while displaying to the families what the Premier organization is all about.
Highlights of the Premier Championships
Great Facility:
The Sevierville Events Center ws just completed in October 2007! New construction is already under way at the site. A brand-new mall and indoor/outdoor water park will open soon at the events center!
Housing:
If you are looking for a place to stay while at the event, make sure you check out Wilderness at the Smokies. This is an all-new, 750-room, resort hotel attached to the Sevierville Events Center. If a hotel is not your style, give Oak Haven Resort a call. They offer 2-7 bedroom cabins and are located just around the corner from the competition site.
Scoring system:
All teams will compete twice and will be judged with the latest computerized scoring system!
Fun Zone:
We didn't forget about the kids at this event! The Premier Championship offers the biggest and best inflatable fun zone around!
Superb attractions:
Put off that Christmas shopping until the first weekend in December. Pigeon Forge is a shopper's paradise, with more than 300 of the top name brand outlet stores in the country. There's also an endless supply of family fun at various theaters and other attractions. If shopping is not your style, then head up the street to Gatlinburg for snow skiing, a visit to the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, or just to take in the sites (and more shopping)!
Free admission:
The Premier Championship offers free admission so you can bring unlimited fans to support your teams!
Awards:
More than just championship banners and trophies! The Premier Championship gives out ahtelic scholarships and several coaches' awards as well as mulitple specialty awards throughout the competition.
Videotaping is allowed: Not only is videotaping allowed, we encourage it! We actually have an elevated videotaping area for parents and family members so you can get the best angle of your routine!
