Sharks in the Navy
Brittany Artis - United States Naval Academy Class of 2012
Brittany Artis is a 2008 graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School and now a "plebe" of the United Sates Naval Academy, (Anapolis, MD) class of 2012.
Her years with Premier Knoxville West include being a member of the 2007-2008 Great White Sharks, the 2006-2007 Hammerhead Sharks, as well as spending many years as a competitive gymnast. The admission process for the naval academy is very competitive. Candidates must meet both academic and physical admissions criteria in conjunction with obtaining a congressional recommendation. They must also have an interview with a local representative of the Academy.
Brittany is member of the US Naval Academy's Gospel Chior and Catholic Chior. She is also a member the US Naval Academy's "Blue" Cheerleading Squad. Look for her on the sidelines cheering on the midshipmen. We are so very proud of Brittany and wish her the best in her academic career and such a prestigious college.
