CONGRATUALTIONS KIM STEFFEN

Premier Athletics – Coach of the Year -  Kim Steffen

Sportsmanship:  Kim Steffen exemplifies the word sportsmanship as a coach and as our All Star Director.   She uses sportsmanship as a way to teach our young athletes life lessons to becoming a better individual.  Kim developed our Code of Conduct of how she expects athletes and parents to behave while wearing the gym name.  At competitions she is pure class in even the most frustration of situations.

Team Member Development:   Unity is a characteristic that Kim instills with each team.   Kim achieves this by planning special events such as pool parties, scavenger hunts, overnights, and holiday parties.   At practice Kim is the first to ask about your day or how your family is doing.  She attempts to connect athletes by similarities to form that connection in their personal lives.  Her goal is to connect athletes that may not normally do not connect, point it out a shared interest and help them form a bond.  That bond then strengthens the team to in turn creating unity on the competition floor.

Personal Coaching Development:  Kim is the State Director for Kentucky’s USASF Credentialing.  She also continues to educate herself by attending management meetings, coaches training and judging.  By attending competitions at all levels, Kim keeps herself up to date on the current trends in the industry.

Citizenship:  Kim is Northern Kentucky cheerleading!  She has been involved in Northern Kentucky cheerleading since her daughters started Recreation cheerleading 18 years ago!  It is impossible to go to lunch or shop with Kim in Northern Kentucky without her running into someone she has coached.    It is very rare to find anyone who has a negative thing to say about Kim Steffen.  She is an outstanding human being who is a role model to the hundreds of athletes she has touched in Northern Kentucky.

Kim Steffen was a founding member of Kentucky Elite North.  When Premier Athletics joined this formed family, Kim Steffen gladly and willingly stepped up and welcomed the change.  She has been the glue that has kept Cincinnati Elite the classy and professional cheerleading training center that it has always been.  Through all the transitions of changing gym ownership Kim has worked hard to maintain a pleasant and open line of communication for each of the Cincinnati Elite familes.  She is a role model to each staff member of our gym and we are proud that she is the Coach of the Year.
