Kentucky Elite Cats Receive PAID Bid to Worlds!

Congratulations to Kentucky Elite Cats!  Cats attended Cheersport National Championships in Atlanta, GA on February 6th and 7th.  Over 900 teams attended cheersport and at least 100 of those teams were eligible to receive bids to the Cheerleading Worlds!  Kentucky Elite placed 1st in their division Small Senior Coed Small and received a full paid bid!  This is the first year that KE has had this division as a World's contender.  They were thrilled to get this team started this year.  They felt that they could re-establish Kentucky Elite's name with this team and it has really turned out great.  They have kids that travel far distances for this team from Ohio and even as far as West Virginia.  Cats definitely started out as a strong team, but also put in lots of hard work and extra practicing to help push them to the next level.  The team has put in a lot of time to learn very difficult stunts and achieve elite tumbling skills.  The heart, drive, and determination has really allowed this team to be what it is today.  As coaches, we are excited to get this team to Worlds and to show the cheerleading industry what they are all about.

The KE Cats are coached by Matt Parkey and Zack Pennix
