Courtney Howard
Name: Courtney Howard
Age: 17

Team: Premier Athletics Johnson City - Gymnast
Courntey Howard is a gymnast at Premier Athletics Johnson City. She says her most memorable moment was winning bars at the Regional Championships. Out of the eight states that competed in her age group, she was able to finish in first place on bars.
Julie Proctor is her favorite coach, Courtney says, "through my eleven years of training with her, she has never given up on me through many injuries, and has always pushed me to my limits because she knows what I am capable of. I would not be where I am in this sport without all the help she has given me." Courtney has been practicing for a very long time is proud that she has mastered a double back on the floor. She dedciates her life to the sport of gymnastics. Her favorite part of the sport is the competitions. She loves being able to go to a meet and show - off what she has worked so hard to learn.
In addition to her dedication to gymnastics, Courtney attend Science Hill High School. She is a Beta Club member and an honor roll student. She participates in community service activities and mission trips with her church.
