Staff
The Premier Athletic Instructional, and Coaching Staffs are second to none. All of our instructors and coaches have cheered for some of the top programs in the country, and most have been teaching or coaching for several years. All of our instructors are safety certified, and have learned from some of the best coaches in the country. Please take some time to view our coaches bios, and their accomplishments below.

Jay Noffsinger
Gym Manager

Jay is in his 10th year of coaching cheerleading and tumbling. He began his coaching career in Knoxville, TN where he coached tumbling for Premier Cheerleading of Knoxville. Later, Jay moved to Nashville where he head coached the Mini and Junior L5 teams, and assisted coached several other teams. For eight years, Jay coached these advanced teams to several national championships! Jay has emerged over the past years as one of the best coaches at Premier. He has proven to be an outstanding technical coach and motivator. Jay is currently the head coach of Page High School and Centennial High School’s nationally ranked squads. Jay is also a former Combat Engineer of the US Marine Corps. This year, Jay will be more focused on the business aspect of Premier, and will be handling all management duties for the 2008-2009 season.
Micah Smith

Micah’s disposition makes him one of the favorites when it comes to tumbling instruction. Micah has been actively coaching tumbling, private lessons, school squad classes, and all-stars since 2001. He cheered at Belmont University and is a USGA certified instructor and an accomplished gymnast. Last season, Micah coached our Junior L5 and Junior L2 to several victories!
Chasity Loper

Chasity is in her 14th year of coaching competitive cheerleading. She has been involved in cheerleading for over 20 years. Chasity is a former national champion high school cheerleader and she was chosen as Cheerleader of the Month in American Cheerleader magazine in 1997. She served as captain of the Austin Peay State University nationally ranked cheerleading team. This will be Chasity’s 9th season with Premier. She has coached over 30 teams to National Championships for the Premier program! Also, she has coached her youth advanced team to a top three finish in the NCA All-star nationals in 2004 and 2005. She coached athletes to a top five finish at Cheersport Nationals in the junior L5, mini L2, and youth L5 divisions in 2008. She also assisted in coaching the Puma team which received a full paid bid to the World’s competition in Orlando. Chasity’s expertise lies in cheer technique, perfecting, and cleaning routines. Chasity graduated in May 2002 from APSU with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Nick Wilson

Nick started gymnastics at Master’s School of Gymnastic. He cheered three years for McGavock High School. Nick has been with Premier for four years. Nick competed for Premier for three years on the Senior L4 & L5 teams. Nick’s expertise lies in tumbling technique and coaches several of the tumbling classes at Premier. Nick also head coached Premier’s very first non-travel team! Nick is also an excellent routine and dance choreographer. He is a very patient and motivating person.
Ace Major

Ace has been with Premier for nine years. He came to us with an extensive background in gymnastics. He cheered on the MTSU competition squad and was an active member for four years. His expertise lies in coaching techniques of tumbling and stunting. Ace is a very motivating and fun coach and is a huge asset to our program. He also assisted the youth advanced and senior advanced teams in their successes, as well. Ace is also a liscened massage therapist.
Ashlee Head

Ashlee has been with Premier since its establishment as a student. She has also danced competitively for 15 years. She has coached for seven seasons for Premier. She is a graduate of MTSU where she is majored in Education. She is currently a teacher at Franklin High School and coaches their Freshman cheer squad. She is an excellent coach and motivator and her expertise lies with the “little ones”. Last season, she coached our Tiny team to an undefeated season and also assisted with the Youth L2 and Junior L3 team in their many accomplishments! She is an asset to our competitive program and we are looking forward to many years of her expertise.

Angela Noffsinger

Angela is a former Premier Shark All-Star where she won numerous awards with the team from Knoxville, TN. After graduating, Angela was the first student from the Premier All-Star program to cheer for the nationally ranked University of Kentucky cheerleading squad! The University of Kentucky is known as one of the top college cheer programs in the nation, being 16 time national champions at UCA College Nationals! Angela cheered for the UK Blue squad for four years where she helped the Kentucky squad to win 3 UCA College National Championships, and one runner-up. Angela furthered her education at the University of Kentucky in Accounting.
