The Premier Athletic Instructional, and Coaching Staffs are second to none. All of our instructors and coaches have cheered for some of the top programs in the country, and most have been teaching or coaching for several years. All of our instructors are safety certified, and have learned from some of the best coaches in the country. Please take some time to view our coaches bios, and their accomplishments below.
Danielle Wilder
Gym Manager

Danielle comes to premier with 5 years of dance experience and teaches ages 3-7. She also teaches tumbling classes for ages 18 mos to 7 years old. Danielle is AACCA, CPR and First Aid certified.
Stacy Rowe
Program Director

Stacy is the Program Director of Premier of Clayton and the Corporate Marketing Director, including all stars, summer camps, and squad lessons for Premier Athletics Corporate in Knoxville, TN. Stacy is a graduate of Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC, where she was a three-year member of the Monarch cheerleading squad and a one year member of the Monarch dance team. While competing at MC, the Monarchs finished no lower than third at collegiate level national championships. Stacy is featured in the 2007/2008 American Cheerleader Magazine Coaches Handbook. Stacy has also been nominated for Cheer Ltd. National Coach of the Year. Stacy is AACCA safety certified, first aid and CPR certified and credentialed by the USASF. Stacy has coached the junior coed, senior cheer and dance teams to national championships with Premier and the senior coed team to their first appearance at the World Cheerleading championships. Stacy has also coaches the Senior Hip Hop team to their first World Dance Championship bid award. She is an advisor to all squads, responsible for the coaches, practice schedules, camps, and competitions. She is also responsible for the overall expansion of the program with regard to skill development, competition preparation, and choreography. She does not coach every squad on a day-to-day basis, but interacts with the coaches to insure the teams are achieving levels of expectation. Erica Lagarde
Shocker Coach/Dance Instr.
Erica is currently attending North Carolina State University. She is studying business and marketing. She was a former Shocker All Star cheerleader and dancer. She is AACCA safety certified, first aid and CPR certified and has been credentialed by the USASF. She has over seven years of competitive cheerleading and dance experience. Erica is a former student assistant and has been an assistant and head Shocker coach. Her primary role at the gym is the Junior Hip Hop Coach and helping to develop hip hop technique throughout the gym. She is a great choreographer, cheerleader and dancer and is a great asset to our coaching staff.
Rebecca Hewett
Dance Instructor
Ms. Rebecca comes to Premier with 13 years of dance experience in tap, ballet and jazz. She trained at the Garner School of Art under Glenda Peele. During those 13 years Rebecca also competed on a dance team for 8 years.
Sarah Holzer
Tumbling/Dance Instructor/All Star Coach
Sarah was a five year member of the Shocker all star cheer and dance program. She was a member of the first Senior Shocker Cheer Team to attend the World Cheerleading Championships and a member of the first Senior Shocker Dance team to receive a bid to the World Dance Championships. She was also a Premier Athletics student assistant. Her expertise with our younger all stars and classes is a tremendous asset to our program. She coaches the Tiny Cheer team and teaches numerous preschool and hot tots classes. Sarah also teaches tumbling at Premier Athletics Riverwood. She is currenlty and a student at NC State and participates on the NC State All Girl Cheer team!
Grayson Toler
Tumbling/Dance Instructor
Grayson was a four year member of the SHocker All Star Cheer and Dance Programs. She is a graduate of East Carolina University where she was a varsity cheerleader. She has formerly tuaght dance and gymnastics and EC Cats in Greenville, NC. She has a degree in Elementary Education and she is such a great coach to have on staff!
Megan Holzer
Tumbling/Dance Instructor/All Star Coach
Megan is a 7 year member of the Shocker all star cheer and dance program. She is currenlty participating on the Shocker dance team that will attend the World Dance Champioonship in Orlando, FL. She plans to attend NC State University and participate in cheerleading. She has been involoved with cheerleading and dance for many years. She teaches preschool tumbling, hot tots tumbling, tumble 1 and tumble 2.
Brittany Burford
Dance Instructor
Brittney has 8 years of cheerleading and dance experience. She is currenlty a member of the Shocker Senior Hip Hop team that will be attending the World Championships in Orlando, FL. She works with the Shocker Youth Hip Hop Dance team and teh hot tots hip hop classes.
Courtney Overbee
Dance Instructor
Courntey is currenlty at teacher at Riverwood middle school. She coaches the Riverwood MIddle School Cheer team. She has over 15 years of personal dance experience and instructor. She teaches all levels of dance.
Brittney Clarke
Tumbling/Dance Instructor
Brittany is a 7 year member of the Shocker all star cheer and dance program. She currently participates on the Shocker dance team that will attend the Dance World Championships in Orlando, FL. She has 10 years of dance experience in many styles and levels. She is planning to attend UNC-Chapel Hill in Pre-Med! She is also the Premier Athletics Scholar Athlete of the Year.
