To the hip to the hop
Hip Hop dance students at each level will learn history, terminology and conditioning skills necessary for strong dancers. At the end of the course, each student will perform a dance routine of 2-3 minutes, showcasing skills learned in the class.

Hip Hop for Ages 6-9
Students will learn the electric current; head, chest and leg isolations; the one-two step; donkey kick; body wave; and beginning pop and lock movements.
Hip Hop for Ages 10-12
Students will learn the coffee grinder; head, chest, shoulder, hip and leg isolations; handstand hops; basic freeze hold; the three-step; and continue with intermediate pop and lock skills.
Hip Hop for ages 13 and Up
Advanced students will learn combination tricks; additional head, chest, shoulder, hip and leg isolations; Handstand hops with leg variations; African cartwheel; the six-step; and advanced pop and lock skills.
