Special Needs - Showcats
The Kentucky Elite Showcats were the very first Special Needs All-Star Cheerleading squad ever. The team was formed 8 years ago by Mary Fehrenbach. The team competes at both the local and national level. The team is made up of males and females and range in age from 10-39.
The Kentucky Elite Showcats have been featured in countless magazines, newspaper articles, and television spots. Most recently they were asked to do an exhibition at the 2008 Cheerleading Worlds where they were seen by athletes around the World and by audiences across the globe on ESPN.
