The Tumbling classes at Premier focus primarily on teaching the popular tumbling skills that have become such a large part of Cheerleading and Power Tumbling today. The classes concentrate on teaching the correct way to perform these skills in a safe environment with the proper progression. Prerequisites are followed to maintain student placement in order to facilitate effective learning in proper progression. Strength and flexibility training will be a large part of these classes since they are imperative for learning and executing proper tumbling. Student-to-teacher ratios do not exceed 8 to 1.

HIGH FIVE FLYERS
(Ages 4 and 5)
This class is designed for younger athletes that are more interested in the tumbling aspect of gymnastics. Emphasis will be placed on building a strong foundation of basics in tumbling.
INTRO TUMBLING
(Ages 6 – 11)
This class is designed for younger athletes that are more interested in the tumbling aspect of gymnastics. Emphasis will be placed on building a strong foundation of basics in tumbling. Those interested need no prior training or experience to participate in this class.

TUMBLE ONE
(Ages 6 - 11)
This class is designed to introduce tumbling to students ages eleven and below. Tumbling emphasis will be placed on drills for back handsprings, round-offs and cartwheels. Students will participate in several different strength drills that accelerate learning of tumbling skills.
TUMBLE TWO
(Ages 6 - 11)
This class is for students who have a basic knowledge of tumbling. Emphasis will be placed on perfecting unassisted standing and round-off back handsprings. Tumbling skills will be an intricate part of classes. Students participating in this class must already be able to perform a standing back handspring and round-off back handspring with a light spot.
TUMBLE THREE
(Ages 6-11)
This class is for students who have a solid knowledge of tumbling. Participants will focus on back handspring series, round-off handspring back tucks, standing back tucks, layouts, and beginning front tumbling. Students participating in this class must already be able to perform an unassisted standing back handspring and round-off back handspring with proper technique.
HIGH SCHOOL ONE
(Ages 12 & up)
This class is designed for athletes with skill level from tumble one. They will work through the proper basics and start training for Back handsprings and running tumbling, as well as training strength needed to have strong and correct tumbling.
HIGH SCHOOL TWO
(Ages 12 & up)
This class is designed for athletes with skill level from tumble two. They will work on perfecting their standing tumbling (back handsprings & back tucks), as well as building the speed and strength needed for good running tumbling.
HIGH SCHOOL THREE
(Ages 12 & up)
This class is for more advanced cheerleaders who have a solid background in tumbling. Participants will focus on back handspring series, round-off handspring layout, full twist, standing back handspring back tuck, toe touch tumbling, and front tumbling. Students participating in this class must already be able to perform an unassisted round-off back handspring back tuck and a standing back tuck.
