On April 28, 2012, Premier Athletics Johnson City will close its doors permanently. This is not just a business closing its doors; it is saying goodbye to a family.

Our difficult decision is based on the fact that the previous owners foreclosed on this building, and it is now owned by the bank. The bank is aggressively trying the sell the building. Once they do, we will have to vacate. There is no real estate in Johnson City that meets our needs or price range for a gym facility. This decision was not made without extensive real estate research in our area, nor was it made quickly. Our corporate office has exhausted all options to keep our gym open.

We hope all of you will continue to embrace gymnastics, cheerleading and tumbling into your homes and your children will continue to enjoy their sport. I will be happy to meet with you to discuss the options you have for your child's future in gymnastics, or cheerlearding and options for a new gym to call home. There will be more information distributed over the next few days about other gym options in the area and the goal to keep the teams together.

Thank you to all our families that have allowed us the opportunity to be a part of your and your children's lives. We have enjoyed every minute.
